Meet Our Great Team - we LOVE to dive.
Our Pro-Staff are experienced, patient, and want you to share our enjoyment in diving.
Your scuba instructor becomes your mentor, and your first dive buddy, as you learn about the underwater world.
Our philosophy focuses on diver comfort, development of basic skills, and progressing to advanced skills
providing the ability to go anywhere you could possibly imagine in scuba.
We love diving locally in Alberta, and believe diving in our prairie lakes gives a solid foundation to dive anywhere in the world.

David FaasFavourite UW creature: This is not easy I like them all. For the largest, my favourite would be our whale shark encounters in the Philippines - they are friendly and allowed for many photographs to be taken. For the smallest I pick the anemone fish - there are many different kinds and they are so cute.
Memorable dive trip: Having travelled to both The Arctic, Antarctic (apparently now bi-polar) and six continents (missing Africa) I would say they are all memorable. We have always travelled with good friends and divers making all holidays the trip to remember. Dive interests: I like dives with a mission: explore a wreck, cave, reef, go deep on trimix; as long as I can take my camera. I like to come back with excellent images of the destination and my dive buddies and surface support. I like to share them and help everyone show off our time underwater. The goal with my pictures is to attract and excite everyone to check out the sub aquatic world that only a select few have experienced. Dive Advice: Learn, practice, repeat. Anything we first do we must learn and should practice. Diving and swimming around underwater is practice on buoyancy, breathing, mask clearing and situational awareness. Being comfortable and confident in the water will allow us to enjoy the underwater realm. Dive within your training; practice and don’t become complacent with your skills. Teaching since: Divemaster 1996, Instructor 2004, Inspiration Closed Circuit Rebreather instructor 2012, IDC Staff instructor 2014 Diving since: Open water in the tropical waters of Jasper Alberta in May of 1988 – two weeks after the ice receded from Lac Beauvert. Full Cave 2000; OC Trimix 2002; CCR 2003. Covid dive goal: To convert Connie over to the dark side and teach her CCR. Keep diving when we are allowed and help develop procedures so we can still enjoy our sport safely. |
Connie FaasFavourite UW creatures: sharks, mantas, seahorses: Actually, all UW critters amaze and fascinate me.
Memorable dive trips: Antarctica, Norway, Fiji, St. Lucia, BC wrecks, Australia, Mexico caves. Actually, every trip becomes memorable, as I love bonding with our dive customers who become friends, while experiencing new dive environments. Dive interests: My "happy place" is underwater. Any time I can get underwater it is a good day! Dive Advice: ‘If you don’t go, you won’t know’ Teaching since: 2004 Diving since: 1988; when our oldest son was just a few weeks old!
